Michael M Morgan

Mr. Morgan’s comes from a technology background where he spent the first 20 years of his professional career working in various technical and engineering roles with Verizon Corporation. Upon leaving Verizon in 1996, Mr. Morgan co-founded PrimeNet Inc., a Baltimore-based, IT Integration Company. PrimeNet successfully grew into one the Mid-Atlantic’s largest technology integrators and was sold in 2000 to a Houston based electrical contracting company.

In 2005 Mr. Morgan was hired as President, Texel Corporation to manage a strategic technology acquisition for a large national AV integration firm. Mr. Morgan was responsible for the successful integration and growth up until 2007 when the company was sold.

In 2006, Mr. Morgan started Critical Response Networks, an alternative housing solutions manufacturer providing innovative environmental friendly housing structures to support post disaster recovery solutions. From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Morgan’s company prototyped and designed a panelized housing solution manufactured with compressed agricultural fiber (straw) panels. This design concept was built around a pre-engineered assembly kit that could be shipped and built within days. This design concept was built as a transitional long term housing system supporting local and national building codes in hurricane prone storm regions. This design was awarded a multi-year contract with FEMA in 2008 and Mr. Morgan has introduced this technology and agri-business model internationally as part of an environmental alternative and affordable housing solution.
