Dolores Murat

Dolores Murat is an Artist/Entrepreneur and is the Artistic Director/Founder of “Dolores en Couleur (DEC), Inc. Theater Company; Director, Playwright, Producer, Poet; Founder and CEO of 911 Daycare, Inc. and www.911daycare.com, is a graduate of Lehman College and Sarah Lawrence College (MFA).

Ms. Murat spent 15 years in the not-for-profit sector including launching a cultural campaign in the province of Petit Goave in Haiti. The cultural campaign includes the AIDS awareness day festival, which has been highly successful over 10 years. She has worked with many community-based organizations all over New York City, such as Chay PA Lou Community Center , Inc., and the Lareche Foundation. Ms. Murat’s demonstrated leadership skills assist her in providing strategic leadership for the organization.
